The grabber drops that mix into a mobile, battery-operated mixing unit, which blends the ration while it travels. It navigates autonomously to the barn or feed bunk using ultrasonic sensors or magnets, then dispenses a fresh layer in front of the animals. For on-demand feeding, the robot carries a feed-height sensor that measures what is left at the fence, and if levels are low, it returns to the kitchen on its own to grab and deliver another batch.
